Rochelle is a professional actor, writer, director and theatre creator. She holds her BFA in Acting from Memorial University of Newfoundland and her MA in Writing, Directing & Performance from the University of York (UK). Life in the theatre is all she’s ever known and she is determined to create a lasting legacy through her contributions to the Canadian, if not the global theatre scene. Currently, she owns and operates Quarter Century Theatre (QCT) out of Collingwood, Ontario. This is her first company, but she does not expect it to be her last. Through her work at QCT, Rochelle has been redefining the theatre landscape in this part of the world by creating bold, original content, mixing media, providing professional opportunities for artists here while also bringing exceptionally talented artists in from outside, and altogether pushing the boundaries of what people expect from watching plays.
Collingwood will not be Rochelle’s final destination, but it has become an ideal place to develop her brand and begin her legacy.
